My journey to becoming a therapist.
Learning about the connection between mind, body and spirit and our healing potential has always been a passion of mine.
My professional training began in Cape Town, South Africa with a medical degree in Human Biosciences (physiology & psychology) and then evolved into a decade-long journey through India, Indonesia and Australia studying yoga, Ayurveda and aromatherapy and meeting incredible teachers along the way.
After settling in Australia I was keen to find a modality that could weave all these interests together. Luckily, life worked its magic and a series of synchronicities led me to study a post-graduate diploma and M.A. in psychotherapy, at the Metavision Institute, a school teaching process-oriented psychology. This awareness-based paradigm fascinated me as it integrated both Eastern and Western ways of thinking and supported deeper levels of expression between the thinking, feeling and dreaming (spiritual) aspects of our being.
Since qualifying as a therapist in 2020, I’ve been immersed in the world of process-oriented psychology. I offer private tutoring, group classes and 1:1 therapy sessions to guide clients and students towards greater levels of insight, clarity and awareness. My joy lies in sharing this approach with others; connecting in the learning space and inspiring change through therapy, psychoeducation, inner work and self-reflection.
